Paul Messier will present research on Man Ray's Le Violon D'Ingres at the Art institute of Chicago, January 19, 2011.

Starting in March 2010, Paul Messier will co-direct a 4-year initiative funded by the Mellon Foundation to promote photograph conservation at the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

Paul Messier presented on surveying de-centralized photograph collections held by large institutions at the National Archives, 24th Annual Preservation Conference, 3/18/10, and on research applications based on his reference collection of photographic papers at the Library of Congress, 3/19/10.
